About me
My name is Helen, I have been in the beauty industry for 16 years, doing various treatments. After having my children I wanted to focus on permanent makeup and tiny/fine line tattoos at my studio based in Redbourn, St Albans.
I love to have a good chat but i am equally happy for my clients to pop there earphones in while I complete the treatment.
What is pMU and the process
There are two ways to create permanent makeup or you may have heard it called semi permanent makeup, this is either with Microblading or by machine. I now solely use the machine method as i prefer what it has to offer. I can create hair strokes and powder brows or a combination of both, Lip Blush and Eyelash Enhancement.
You would come in for a consultation where we will discuss your desired look, I ask my clients to come in with their makeup on so I can get a feel for how you are used to your brows looking.
We would then book you in for your treatment, once completed we will book you back in for 6 weeks touch up appointment to make any adjustments that are needed.
At around 18 months you will need to book in for a refresh to keep your PMU looking fantastic.
Information
Can everyone have PMU?
Unfortunately not, I can not perform this treatment to anyone under 18, pregnant, and mothers breast-feeding. If you have a medical condition please make me aware of this before booking your consultation, so we can discuss if you can go ahead with treatment.
Does the treatment hurt?
Numbing cream is applied, The majority of my clients have found the treatment comfortable but this is a hard question to answer everyone has different pain thresholds.
How long does the treatment take to complete?
Please allow 30 minutes for the consultation and 2-3 hours for the treatment.
Do I pay for a consultation?
When booking your appointment you will be asked to pay £25, if you go ahead with the treatment this will be deducted from the final balance.
What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?
My policy is that i require at least 24 hours notice, Please be aware that if you fail to attend your appointment or cancel within 24 hours notice the £25 already paid will still be charged this policy is non negotiable due to overheads will still need to be covered.
Why can I not have a coffee 24 hours before my treatment?
Caffeine causes you to bleed heavily in most cases I would not be able to continue with the treatment. Fees may incur.

Policy:
